My RF Limited Magnum S-9 amateur radio has encountered some major issues and the company has failed to satisfy me as a customer when I bring the problems to their attention shortly after the 1 year warrenty expired. I started noticing issues with the frequency counter segment LED's about 6 months after I purchased it, the microphone connector set screw is stripped and there is clipping distortion at volume levels above 11 oclock which makes the radio sound like a fisher price toy. Sam at Magnum USA was unable to provide me with a no cost solution to have this fixed and after months of demoing and promoting their product I have decided to sell it and never to buy a Magnum or RF Limited product ever again. These radios are overpriced as it is. I suggest you put the money into a proper Yaesu, Kenwood or Icom set. You will recieve more bang for your buck and have a product with a great performance and reputation!
